I first thought this was an original fixture that is over the garage door, but in the Butterfields/LAMA May 19, 2002 auction catalog of the Collection of Michael and Gabrielle Boyd, I saw the same fixture which the catalog says was designed by Kurt Versen, made of spun aluminum, the model number is 9042, and it is circa 1950. The estimate for the pair pictured below is $900/1,200. Now, this house most likely is older than 1950 so this was added later. Interesting since the design is more from the 1930s and this one has half of it painted blue. Maybe they are older than 1950. I will have to email the company.
