Residences

This Pacific Heights home was difficult to photograph due to the tree in front. This house sits amongst traditional Victorian mansions, which makes it even more special. I have driven past this house numerous times and have marveled at the amazing art work you can see through the large windows downstairs. The home has views of Coit Tower through the rear, and perhaps Marin and Alcatraz through the numerous windows you can see on the side which face north. A basic cubist composition the house references early Modernist masters such as Neutra and Le Corbusier, though it was probably built in the 1970s or 1980s. I am a sucker for white boxes and lots of windows - what can I say?
