This house is documented in 'Bay Area Houses' by Sally Woodbridge. It was designed by John Ekin Dinwiddie in 1938. It is located close to the Rock house, the one designed by James Ream, and the strange square pink house is on the other end of the block. Here is a view of the other side. The house has a door on the upper floor that allows people to go on a deck that extends to the chimney. There also appears to be a courtyard down below.
